Basketball in Peru

The basketball in Peru is growing, thanks to the globalization, this beautiful sport is getting more fans and a lot of young players.

History

In the 70´s and early 80's the peruvian basketball was at his peak, they won some southamerica championships, and played at the FIBA world cup. In the 90's until 2022, basketball had many problems, the worst was the disaffiliation of FIBA in 2021.

Nowadays

In 2023 the national basketball federation was reborn. They organized the u17 national championship, the national league which is the most ranked competition in Peru. And they are on their way to get their affiliation to FIBA again. There is still no professional league but They are in progress. So far the best leagues are "Liga de Basketball de Lima" and "Liga de Basketball de Arequipa".

Cuando instalas wamp, y necesitas usar oracle; tienes que habilitar la extension extensions=php_oci8.dll en el archivo php.ini que esta en la carpeta C:\wamp\bin\apache\Apache2.2.21\bin\ ; buscas esa linea extensions=php_oci8.dll y descomentas quitando el ; que esta al inicio de la fila. tambien tienes que revisar que la linea que direcciona las extensiones este asi: extension_dir ="wamp/bin/php/php5.3.10/ext/" , es decir que este direccionando a la carpeta de extensiones. luego solo tienes que reiniciar los servicios del wamp, y listo.

During the production of the movie Toy Story 2, an unnamed Pixar employee was doing some routine data cleanup. They wanted to delete some of their files. So they typed this into their command line: bin/rm -r -f *. But they didn't realize that they were running the command inside the server's root folder. Animators knew something was wrong when the files they were working on started vanishing. They rushed over and unplugged the computer. But it was too late. 90% of the Toy Story 2's files had been deleted. The team was going to have to completely restart the $100,000,000 project. Luckily, one of their animators was working from home after having a baby. She had a 2-week old backup of the data sitting on her desk. After she carefully drove her computer to the office, they were able to restore the database.😌
